Texture Tiling Methods

PBR Generator offers three texture tiling methods, allowing you to preserve the original tiling, bake complex map combinations, or make adjustments without changing the existing texture scale.

Standard export method and texture creation

  •  A method that automatically saves your texture with its original tiling converted to 1:1 (1.0 × 1.0) and then applies the original tiling values to the texture in the new material.

Maps Node export method and texture creation

  • A more advanced method: when using different Mix, Color Correction, Output, and other nodes, your texture is baked with 1:1 tiling, exactly as we see it. This method is specifically designed to create a complex texture combination on a single texture map

Tiling-preserving export method and texture creation

  • The third method is very similar to the first, standard method, but with a slight modification. The main difference is that we enable the Force Tile option next to the required texture, such as Diffuse, Roughness, or another map. This option copies the texture’s current tiling values and transfers them to the new material. This method is specifically designed to allow you to make minor color corrections or other adjustments without changing the original texture tiling.
