How to Install PBR Generator in 3ds Max

Method 1 — Using Run Script

01 — Open Run Script

• In 3ds Max, go to:
• Scripting → Run Script...
• A file selection window will open. The path at the top of the window will look approximately like this:
• C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\ENU\scripts
• Copy the PBR Generator .mzp file into this folder.

02 — Run the script

• In the Run Script... window, select the PBR Generator .ms file and click Open.
• The installation window will appear. Click Install.

Method 2 — Drag and Drop

• Simply drag the PBR Generator .mzp file directly into the 3ds Max window.
• The installation window will appear. Click Install.
• That's it — the script is installed.

How to Add PBR Generator to the Quick Access Toolbar

After installing the script, you can add a convenient launch button to the 3ds Max toolbar.

01 — Open the toolbar settings

• In the 3ds Max top menu, go to:
• Customize → Customize User Interface...

02 — Find the script

• In the window that opens, go to the Toolbars tab.
• In the Category list, select:
• KLSripts
• Find PBR Generator.

03 — Add the button

• Drag PBR Generator to a convenient location on the toolbar.
• Now you can launch the script with a single click on this button.
